CWAB Membership Process
Step 1: Determine Eligibility
Choose your membership type based on your playing level and background:
1. Life Membership
For former players registered under CCDM
Fee:
General former players: Tk. 1,00,000
Former national players: Tk. 50,000
Privileges: Full voting rights, no annual fees
2. Permanent Membership
For players who have:
Played for the Bangladesh National Team, or
Played in First-Class, List A, or Dhaka Premier League matches from 1972 onward
Fees:
Registration (One-time): Tk. 5,000
Annual Subscription:
Former National/First-Class/Premier League: Tk. 5,000
Current National Players (BCB Contract): Tk. 24,000
Current First-Class (BCB Contract): Tk. 6,000
Premier League (List A): Tk. 3,000
Women National Players (BCB Contract): Tk. 2,400
Privileges: Voting rights (if dues are paid before September 2025)
3. Associate Membership
For players who have:
Played in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Division cricket under CCDM, or
Represented any District Sports Association (DSA)
Fees:
Entry: Tk. 2,000
Annual Subscription: Tk. 1,200
Privileges: No voting rights
Can upgrade to Permanent Membership upon meeting criteria (e.g., selection to National, First-Class, List A, or Premier League teams)
Step 2: Submit Application
Fill out the CWAB membership application form
Attach:
Player profile
Proof of playing level (certificate or record)
National ID copy
Passport-size photo
Pay applicable fees
Step 3: Approval Process
Your application will be reviewed by the Membership Sub-Committee
Upon approval, the CWAB Election Commission will confirm voting rights eligibility
Step 4: Receive Membership Confirmation
You’ll receive a CWAB Membership ID
Permanent and Life Members will be listed in official records and eligible for elections (if dues are current)
