CWAB Code of Conduct
1. Purpose
To maintain professionalism, integrity, and mutual respect among all CWAB members, and to uphold the values of cricket and good governance in Bangladesh.
2. Scope
This Code applies to all categories of CWAB members including:
Life Members
Permanent Members
Associate Members
Executive Committee Members
Officials and Volunteers
3. General Conduct
All members must behave with honesty, fairness, and dignity in all CWAB-related matters.
Members must avoid any activity that brings disrepute to CWAB or the sport of cricket.
Respect toward fellow members, officials, and players is mandatory.
4. Integrity and Ethics
Members shall not engage in any form of corruption, match-fixing, or unethical practices.
Confidential information obtained through CWAB must not be misused.
Conflicts of interest must be declared and managed transparently.
5. Discrimination and Harassment
CWAB maintains zero tolerance for any form of:
Discrimination (race, gender, religion, etc.)
Harassment (verbal, physical, or sexual)
Members are expected to promote a safe and inclusive environment.
6. Financial Responsibility
Members must pay their dues, fees, and subscriptions on time.
Misuse of CWAB funds or resources will lead to disciplinary action.
7. Compliance
Members must comply with the Constitution of CWAB, BCB regulations, and national laws.
Decisions taken by the CWAB Executive Committee must be respected and followed.
8. Disciplinary Measures
Violation of this Code may result in:
Warning or reprimand
Temporary suspension of membership
Permanent termination from CWAB
Legal action, if applicable
9. Reporting Misconduct
Any member can report violations of this Code to the CWAB Disciplinary Committee in writing. All complaints will be treated confidentially and investigated fairly.
